Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-23-draft · Agent Walkthrough ("we", "us") is based in Ontario, Canada.
These terms cover your use of Agent Walkthrough. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. They're written in plain language on purpose; if anything is unclear, contact us.
1. What Agent Walkthrough is, and isn't
Agent Walkthrough helps real estate professionals record informal observations during a property visit. Notes and photos are captured room by room, AI sorts the notes into highlights, considerations and features with suggested fixes, and you review and sign off a report you can share.
You're responsible for reviewing every item before you sign off a report, and for how you share it. Items the AI suggested are labelled until you change them. AI output can be wrong or incomplete.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. An account is for one person.
- Agent Walkthrough accounts are separate from Debrief (the martial arts app). An email address can be used for only one of the two.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
3. Free trial
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card needed, for up to 3 properties. When the trial ends without a plan, your account becomes read-only (see section 6).
4. Plans, billing and taxes
- Monthly: CAD $39 a month. Annual: CAD $390 a year. Applicable taxes are added.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
- If you choose a plan during your free trial, you keep the rest of the trial and are first charged when it would have ended.
- Switching between monthly and annual is prorated.
- We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect on your renewal.
- If a payment fails, you keep access while Stripe retries. If it still fails, your account becomes read-only.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel any time in Plan and billing → Manage billing. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for; you keep full access until then. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
6. Read-only accounts
After a trial or plan ends, you can still open, export and delete your properties and signed-off reports. You can't add or edit properties until you choose a plan.
7. Who owns the reports
The person or business that pays for the plan owns the reports created under it. On an individual plan, that's you. You keep ownership of everything you create; you give us a limited permission to store, process (including with AI, as described in the Privacy Policy) and display it only to provide Agent Walkthrough to you.
8. Photos stay on your device
Photos are stored only on the device that took them; we never receive them. If you lose or replace the device, clear your browser's data, or the browser clears it, the photos are gone. Use Back up photos and data on each property to keep a copy. We aren't responsible for photos lost this way.
9. Your responsibilities
- Only record properties you're permitted to enter and document.
- Respect the privacy of occupants: avoid photographing people, documents and personal belongings, and keep personal information out of your notes where you can.
- Follow the rules that apply to you, including real estate regulation (such as RECO in Ontario) and privacy law.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it.
10. Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time. It's immediate and can't be undone. Deleting your account cancels any plan immediately, without a refund, and deletes your properties, notes, reports and records, along with the photos stored in the app on that device.
11. Changes and availability
We may change or improve Agent Walkthrough. We'll give paying customers at least 30 days' notice of material changes to these terms, by email or in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We aim for the service to be available at all times but can't guarantee it.
12. Limits on our responsibility
Agent Walkthrough is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for decisions made using reports, for AI output, for lost photos, or for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
