Agent Walkthrough

Privacy Policy

Version 2026-09-23-draft · Covers Agent Walkthrough only. Debrief (the martial arts app) has its own policy.

Agent Walkthrough, based in Ontario, Canada, is accountable for the personal information described here. Questions go to our privacy contact below. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. The short version

2. What we collect

3. What stays on your device

The app stores these in your browser on your device: your photos (full size and thumbnails), a room's note and photos until you tap Save room, notes waiting to sync when you're offline, and a copy of your recent properties and plan so the app works without a connection. Signing out removes the copy and any unsaved room. Photos stay until you delete the property or your account, or clear the browser's data.

4. How we use it

5. AI processing

When you save a note, its text and the room names for that property are sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to be sorted into highlights, considerations and features. Photos are never sent. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic doesn't use this data to train its models. The results are stored with your property and labelled "AI-suggested" until you change them.

6. Information about other people

Your notes describe properties and may mention other people, such as sellers or occupants. Please keep personal information out of notes and photos where you can. Reports include only the items you signed off, never your raw notes. The Back up download does include your raw notes, because it's your own working copy; don't share it with clients.

7. Service providers

Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking services.

8. Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app at any time; it's immediate and removes your properties, notes, reports and records. Copies may remain in our providers' backups for a short time before being overwritten. Stripe keeps billing records for as long as the law requires.

To see or correct the information we hold about you, or to ask any privacy question, contact us. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. International transfers

Our providers store and process data outside Canada, mainly in the United States, where different laws apply, including laws that may let authorities access it.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and database rules restrict every account to its own data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes

We'll update the version above when this policy changes and tell active users about material changes by email or in the app.
